Welcome to the March 14, 2013 edition of StoneMakers update. This will be a monthly feature to provide insight into the latest innovations and news from StoneMakers.
As part of their commitment to the men and women who serve in the US Armed Forces, StoneMakers has launched a program to give back to those that served. Along the lines of “Extreme Home Makeover”, Stonemakers will be donating a backyard makeover monthly to a deserving disabled veteran.
The project for the StoneMakers April training in New Orleans, LA is an example of the extreme backyard resort style outdoor living area the StoneMakers system has evolved into. The need to use heavy equipment to move natural rock into place to create dramatic water features has been eliminated, as well as the safety issues dealing with 10 ton natural rock. And the time on the job? Rather than taking weeks or months to complete, this project was completed in just 4 days.
Brent Montry, a StoneMakers dealer from Tri State StoneMakers in Wisconson, integrates a monolithic concrete retaining wall into an existing landscape design in this three part video series. He demonstrates all the facets of building a retaining wall using the StoneMakers system from design to the finished project.

The molds for the panel are made from real stone to ensure the realistic look of custom masonry. Here are a few of the features of this new panel system:
Moving forward by giving back, StoneMakers will be donating the labor and materials to construct a resort style waterfall for the SAY Sí youth art center in San Antonio, TX. On Tuesday February 21, 2011, David Montoya, President and Founder of Stonemakers, will be hosting a live demonstration for the new Ledgefalls System for resort style water features. This is part of a renovation project coordinated by the Concrete Décor Show, being held that week.
